Appointment In Zambia
Mr M. C. Stanaway. of 'Christchurch, has taken up a position as assistant resident representative of the United Nations Development Programme in Lusaka, Zambia. Initially the appointment is for two years. Mr Stanaway’s job is and is connected with the 80 foreign specialists who are working in the development programme. Mr Stanaway. a former lieutenant-colonel in the New Zealand Army, was previously with the United Nations in Amman, where he was chairman of the JordanIsraeli Mixed Armistice Commission.
