‘Designmark’ Approved

WELLINGTON, July 3. The usp of a "Designmark,” approved by the Industrial Design Council, has been authorised under regulations gazetted tonight An industrial designer who wishes to use the mark is required to submit his product for entry in the council's design index.
No person is allowed to use the “Designmark” on any product unless it is entered in the design index. Any person who contravenes this prescription is liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding $lO.
