Maxi Success
In its first month on sale in Britain the new Austin Maxi has gained a 32 per cent share of the market, and more than 3000 cars have been sold. Production is now reaching 2000 cars a week, and the production of export Maxis is just starting. At present British Leyland has orders for 32,000 Maxis worth $64 million.
