Duties: Geological mapping and interpretation, application of geology to the solution of related engineering problems especially investigation in the fields of the physical proper ties of rocks and soils, construction materials, hydro-elec-tric and nuclear power station sites, dam sites, tunnels, roads and railways. Publication of work will be encouraged. Qualifications desired: B.Sc. (Hons, preferred) or better, in Geology. A knowledge of engineering geology and civil en gineering practice an advantage but not essential. Capability to perform independent on ginal research.
