Right Tack, the winner sf two classic races this season, captured the most valuable race Oh the opening day of the Royal Ascot meeting. The bay edit, winner earlier this season Of the English and Irish 2000 Guineas, raced to a half-length win in the st James's Palace Stakes, over a mile. G. Lewis rode the winner.
