MULLER OUT OF TEST XV
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. The Canterbury prop forward, A. E. Hopkinson, will replace B. L. Muller (Taranaki) in the All Black team to play Wales in the second test at Auckland on Saturday. Muller withdrew from the test team yesterday after a doctor pronounced him unfit. One of the stars in New Zealand’s 19-0 first test win against Wales, Muller tore a ligament in his leg in a club match in New Plymouth last Saturday. The match will be Hopkinson’s twentieth for New Zealand and his seventh test appearance. He played against Wales and Scotland on the 1967 All Black tour of the British Isles, against Australia at Sydney last year, and in the three home tests against France. The selection of Hopkinson was announced last night by the chairman of the New Zealand Bugby Union (Mr J. L. Sullivan).
