Strike May Widen
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, June 10. Five hundred Auckland maintenance electricians are prepared to join the 500 contract electricians on strike. At a meeting of about 1000 Auckland Electrical Workers’ Union members in the Town Hall this morning, the maintenance electricians voted to give 14 days notice of strike action if the dispute is not settled soon. The date on which the notice is to be given is to be fixed by the union management committee.
