CNX Press Association) DUNEDIN, June 3. The poyal Society of New Zealand had been advised that the Nuffield Foundation had made a grant of $lB,OOO towards the society’s centennial appeal, the president, Professor J. A R. Miles, said today. “This generous gift substantially helps the attainment of our objective of starting to build the first stage of our. headquarters in 1970,” Professor Miles said. “It will be used to build and furnish a council and conference room, which promises to be one of the most extensively used rooms in the building.”
