Marketing Award
Mr D. C. Graham (right), winner of an international marketing award, being congratulated yesterday by the president of the Canterbury Sales and Marketing Executives’ Club (Mr T. G. Leighs). Promoted by the club in association with Air New tea-, land and the South Island) Publicity Association, the award consists of free return ; air travel to Sydney or Melbourne, $2OO in spending money, a free rental car for a week, and hotel concessions.
In return, the winner is required to study marketing techniques in Australia and to publicise the South Island. On his return he is expected to submit a report to the club, address meetings, and assist the S.I.P.A. with promotion.
The South Island manager of Taubman’s Products, Ltd, Mr Graham, was selected from six finalists.
