Sales, Profit Increase - The directors . of Imperial Chemical Industries (N.Z.), Ltd, reported that sales and consolidated profit for the six months to March 31 were above those achieved in the corresponding period last year. “Some benefit from recent exports of locally manufactured synthetic fibres ie reflected in this result,” a statement from the directors, said. “Sales are continuing at forecast level. There are indications of renewed difficulties in recruiting and maintaining a stable labour force and this could be a factor in increasing costs in the future.” Receivers For A. G. Healing (N.Z. Healing, Ltd, group, which, has reported heavy losses in recent years culminating in a loss of sl.6m for the half year to December 30.
