‘Powerful Factor’
(N.Z. Prise Association) WELLINGTON, June 3. The efficiency of New Zealand’s dairy industry was “a powerful factor” In trade negotiations overseas, the British Conservative Party leader (Mr Heath) said at a press conference in Wellington today. He had been asked if he could give an objective, outside assessment of the value to New Zealand, when negotiating on trade matters overseas, of emphasising that her dairy industry was not subsidised.
