CRICKET AWARDS
Cash Prizes In Tests (N.Z.P.A. Staff Correspondent) LONDON. Members of the New Zealand cricket team in England will have a chance to win varying cash awards worth in total $2400. This is the amount being put up by the British firm, Horlicks, Ltd, for outstanding performances during the three test matches to be played.
The best batting performance from a player on either side in each test will earn an award of $2OO. The runnerup prize will amount to $lOO. Similar awards will be made for bowling performances.
