The instruments cover a wide range, including electrical, electronic and pneumatic types and the Instrument Technician must be qualified both by theorematical and practical training to service all units. The central servicing depot is located at the Manukau Purification Works in Mangere. A house adjacent to the works may be made available at a reasonable rental. The salary offered will be that of grade 5 of the Regional Authority’s salary structure which ranges from $4004 to $4824.
