"The Press" Special Service

CAMBRIDGE. The Southland visitors, Eiffel Tower. Mosque and Ettrick — which are quartered temporarily at Cambridge in the early part of their northern campaign —followed up a sound schooling effort at Te Rapa on Tuesday with a working gallop over a mile and a half at Cambridge yesterday. The course proper 15ft out was cutting out slightly. Ridden by the trainer. W. J. Hillis, Eiffel Tower started off about two lengths behind Mosque {Weaver) and Ettrick (Lang). After working the first five furlongs at three-quarter pace, they galloped the last seven furlongs in imin 36sec, the last five in Imin 6sec, and the last three strongly in 38sec. Eiffel Tower finished strongly on the outside to be on terms. Mosque will be ridden by R. B. Weaver in the Waikato Steeplechase.
