The winner of the Gore Cup last December, and assessed at 2:14, Dacron has been sold to a patron of S. Dancer's stable in New Egypt. Dacron’s owner, Mr R. M. I Hamilton, of Winton, w’ho bred ■ him, completed negotiations i with Mr .1. S. Dalgety, of Christ- j church, last week-end. Dacron left Christchurch on Sunday for Auckland, from , where he will be flown to the I United States in a special air- t lift. By the leading sire, Garrison I Hanover, Dacron is from the ■ Blaydon mare. Luckylast, and i ranks as a half-brother to the | smart race mare, Chiffon, and a 1 top trotter, in Lucky Song.
