Fall Of 17.0 Per Cent
The audited net profit of D. Henry and Company, Ltd, for the year to February 28 fell $Bl94 —or 17 per cent—to $40,063, the directors reported. The tax provision for the year at $37,243 compares with $45,536 last year. The total appropriation for dividends is $32,400 which leaves a balance of $7663 to be added to the appropriation account for the year.
All shares will become ex dividend on June 23. This is the third successive profit decline for the Auckland electrical equipment manufacturer, which earned a record profit of $57,148 in 1966.
