AIRPORT PLAN

DUNEDIN, May 12.
A plan to double the public waiting space, add 80 per cent to the dining area and provide a tavern at Dunedin Airport at a total cost of 8128,500, has been recommended by the City Council's airport committee. The committee chairman (Mr M. Joel) said today the City Engineer (Mr G. K. Armstrong) had been instructed to seek general approval of the scheme from the Ministry of Transport, and to prepare working drawings with a view to calling tenders for the work in the 1970-71 financial year.
