WELLINGTON, May 13. A test well for the BP-Shell-Todd exploration consortium will be spudded in by August 15 on the Canterbury Plains. Seismic and gravity data was being reprocessed for the New Zealand Exploration Company, Ltd, by the most up-to-date American methods, the consortium said in a statement today. The information gained should help considerably in the selection of a prospective drill site, the statement said.
