Catchment Bd Secretary
Mr E. R. Wood has been appointed' secretary to the North Canterbury Catchment Board to succeed Mr W. W. Brough on his retirement at the end of September. Mr Wood, who is aged 37, was recently appointed District Public Trustee at Otahuhu. He was educated at
the St Albans Primary School and the Christchurch Techni-, cal College, gained a B. Com. degree at Canterbury College, and subsequently qualified as a registered accountant. He joined the Public Trust Office in Christchurch in 1949, and from 1958 t 1962 was senior estimates clerk at Wellington He was trust officer at Dunedin from 1963 to 1965. and was appointed District Public Trustee at Ashburton in 1966. being promoted to the Otahuhu office last March, ,
