Shares Wanted In Aust. Line
(N.Z. Press Association) SYDNEY, May 12. Australians should be allowed to buy shares in the Australian National Line to give the nation a world class shipping line, according to the “Transport Journal of Australia.” It advocated the construction of the line’s ships in Australian yards and said that if finance were a problem the Australian public should be asked to participate in a shareholding of up to 40 per cent in A.N.L.
