MR L. H. HALE, who has been appointed commercial general manager of U.E.B. Industries, Ltd. He will be responsible for industrial relations, public relations, customer relations, property company supervision and packaging exports, and he will represent U.E.B. as a director of Kiwi United (South Pacific), Ltd, Suva, TraveLodge (N.Z.), Ltd, and Ashley Wallpapers (N.Z.), Ltd. Mr Hale was formerly general manager of U.E.B.’s overseas and export divisions. The export division will cease to function as the merger of the Roslyn mills, Dunedin, with Mosgiels Woollens, Ltd, has restricted the range of products available for export by U.E.B.
