AUCKLAND.
B. W. Bailey, the prolific try-scoring captain of the Ponsonby Rugby league team, is available once again for New Zealand in the forthcoming series against Australia and for the World Cup campaign if selected.
Bailey, who first played for New Zealand in 1961 and captained the Kiwis in the test series against Australia in 1967, was not available for financial reasons last year. He has been in great form again this season for his side, which is unbeaten in the Auckland competition.
