Stewart Wins Again

Stewart (Scotland), driving a Matra Sports I MS7, yesterday won the Grand Prix of Madrid for s formula two racing cars, I run on the Jarama cirI cuit outside Madrid. . J. P. Beltoise (France) was | second, also in a Matra Sport MS 7, and P. Courage (England) was third in a Brabham BT 230. J. ServosGavin (France), in another Matra Sport MS 7, was fourth. It was Stewart’s second , grand prix win in Spain with- “ in a week. Last week he won the
Spanish formula one Grand Prix at Barcelona. He won yesterday’s race after a prolonged duel with Beltoisi. The two shared the lead in the 60-lap race from the start.
But Stewart, cheered on by 30,000 fans, finished just over one second ahead of his French rival, clocking an average speed of 85.476 m.p.h. and leaving most of the 18-man field well ■ behind.
