Beer Hall Wrecked
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) ZAP (North Dakota), May 11. National Guardsmen chased about 3000 militant college students out of Zap yesterday after they had wrecked a beer hall, started a »fire and attempted to dismantle Zap’s only fire engine. The students began converging on the small town after an article had appeared in the North Dakota State College newspaper urging them to “zip to Zap” for “A Mother’s Day Zap-out." They wrecked one of the town’s two beer halls, pulled down an empty building and started a bonfire with the pieces. When Zap’s only fire engine arrived, the students lept on to it and tried to dismantle it Governor William Guy called in the guardsmen last night and about 500 troops were in the town early today.
