Lunar Travel Service
Trip* to the moon can already be booked in Germany. A Stuttgart travel agency issues customers with certificates to prove that they have booked, and to keep them informed until it is clear when trips are likely to get under way. Potential moon-trippers are not required to make a deposit until details of price and timetable are clear. On the opening day 26 bookings were made by private individuals; businessmen, journalists and a woman of over 60. There will probably be three flights a week from Frankfurt to New York by Boeing 2707, a 2880minute flight to the space platform, two days by spaceship to the lunar platform, then a lunar ferry service to the terminal and hotel. Return trips are guaranteed.
