41 Teams In Shooting
The Christchurch. Smallbore Rifle Association’s winter competition began last week with 41 teams entered in the six grades. This is the highest number of teams for many years. The highest team score in the first round was by the R.S.A. Master team with 793.62. Sydenham was neft with 793.51. Five shooters—R. E. Taylor, A. Jarvie, C. Thom, J. Neale, and M. Johns—scored a possible of 100.10. Results: — Master. Cashmere Railway 784.55; Sydenham 79331, Heathcote 782.55; R.S.A. 793.62, New Brighton 791.54; Paparua 788.51, Avon 781.47.
