RAINBOW II LEAVES FOR HELIGOLAND.—The New Zealand entrant in the 1969 One-ton Cup yachting series being hoisted aboard the freighter Leave Lloyd at Auckland by the floating crane Hikinui. The waterproofed cardboard container enclosing the yacht measures 39ft by 13ft by 13ft and is one of the biggest cargo containers to leave New Zealand. Rainbow II was runner-up to the champion German yacht Optimist in last year’s contest. With the new rig that has been added since, the skipper (Mr C. Bouzaid) hopes to bring the cup home this year.
