Hockey Hurrah for New Zealand hotkey. It is heartening to know toat all is not lost for "toe tame In our land. ' Thank you Mr B. Turner, Wellington. , If hockey sticks are to be -'used lawfully on the field as cudgels, players would be better advised to put them away and play Rugby. Surely the type of play suggested by Mr I. Free, Auckland, would be more In place on New Zealand Rugby fields and those hockey players unable to concentrate with the brain . and skill necessary for good (hockey would be well advised to change their game —or at least be willing to attempt playing, to toe best of their ability, toe game " i«f hockey.—R.S.B.
