ORDER OF THE BOOT.—This gumboot serves an unusual function. It is used to direct grain into a trough from a hopper used in feeding out grain to stock on the property of Mr I. M. Gillies at Ashwick, near Fairlie. This was one of several pieces of equipment used for grain feeding which were displayed at a field afternoon held on Mr Gillies’s property this week.
