Postal Slogans
Postmark slogans promoting tourism are being used on overseas mail posted at Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin The Minister of Tourism (Mr Thomson) said in Wellington that all slogans featured the stylised kiwi which had been adopted by the New Zealand Manufacturers’ Federation to promote New Zea-land-made goods. The lettering read either “Visit scenic New Zealand,” or "New Zealand scenic vaeationland.”— (P.A.)
