Mrs Margaret Bean won the Christchurch area section of the radio leadership contest for toe Country Girls’ Club, in Christchurch. A member of toe Mayfield elub, Mrs Bean will represent toe Christchurch a.ea in the New Zealand final at toe C. G. C. Dominion federation conference in Christchurch in June
Miss Meda Potts (Avon) was second, and Miss Cushla Bennett (Oxford) was third.
