Slow Response By Mail
There had been a disappointing response to a circular asking that dog registration be done by mail, the County Clerk (Mr B. W. Perrin) told the Malvern County Council yesterday.
Ot 2000 dogs to be registered, only 680 had been dealt with to May 1, he said. The council would have to eonaider what aetion should be taken to complete the registration. Balancea—Mr Perrin reported that, at March 31, there was a credit balance of $87,184 in the county fund, compared with $86,637 last year, and that with apecial account balances, the total credit stood at $146,972, compared with $95,286.
