Maori Back On Run
When the inter-island steamer Maori left Lyttelton at 11J0 a.m. yesterday about 20 of her original passengers remained ashore, many ot them making alternative arrangements for travel. Most of these left the ship early yesterday morning. The ship was almost full, however, because there was a heavy demand for passages. The Maori arrived in Wellington at 8.45 p.m. The sailing time of the Maori on her daylight trip from Lyttelton today has been altered. Passengers with cars who are booked on today’s sailing have been asked to present their cars at the wharf for loading by 9.30 a.m. The connecting train from Christchurch will leave at 10.5 a.m. and the Maori is expected to sail at 11 a.m.
