Grader Crashes
A Ministry of Works driver, Mr A. Broughton, of Kalkoura, was only braised when his grader crashed to the boulder-strewn beach after the edge of the main road gave way eight miles south of Kalkoura about 2 p.m. yesterday. The grader fell about 15 to 20ft and great difficulty was experienced in salvaging it. A track was cut down the cliff face and the grader was driven up with assistance from winches.
