Astronaut To Visit
CN.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, May 8. The American astronaut, Walter Cunningham, win arrive in Auckland on Monday for a five-day visit to New Zealand which will include visits to Palmerston North, Wellington and Christchurch. The astronaut’s itinerary, which was released tonight by the Prime Minister (Mr Hdyoake), features addresses in each centre to senior secondary school pupils and scientific organisation!. The 37-yeer-oM astronaut, to New Zealand as a guest af the Government, will be given Mayoral receptions; he will be received by the Governor - General (Sir Arthur Porritt) and be the guest honour at a State tanehesm in Parliament He will be accompanied by his wife.
