COMPETITOR CRASHES.—Mr B. Garcia checking personal papers after his light plane crashed in a field near Lykens, Pennsylvania, while he was competing in the Atlantic air race. Mr Garcia was refused a clearance to leave Canada for England because of inadequate radio equipment and fuel tanks. He was returning when he ran out of fuel and crashed.
