Saturday Sport Proposal
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) AUCKLAND, May 6. The controversial topic of playing Auckland secondary school sports on Saturdays will be discussed at an Auckland Regional Post Primary Teachers’ Association meeting next Saturday. The association’s secretary (Mr B. Long) said today that Avondale College had held a referendum and found that 76 per cent of secondary school teachers in the region were in favour of abolishing organised sport on Saturdays.
