Photographic Club
The New Brighton Photographic Club elected the following officers at its annual meeting: President, Mr R. W. Carson; vice-president, Mr C. W. Harrison: secretarytreasurer, Mrs S. Lundy; committee, Messrs J. Smith, D. Mackay, C. Buxton, F. Utteridge. Results of the competition, “In Your Own Backyard,” were:—
Monochrome. P. McCulloch, “Waiting” (honours): Mrs S. Lundy, “Saturday Morning Chores” (highly commended); C. Harrison. “After the Rain” (highly commended). Colour.—Acceptances: Mrs E Barbarel, “Just Bubbling Over:" S. Soanes, “Sunflower,” “Aquarius.” Highly commended: Mrs E. Barbarel, “Oh That’s Cold.” The judge was Mr S. Miller.
