Surfboat For Chathams
A 29ft-long, kauri-hulled surfboat built by Stark Brothers, of Lyttelton, for ferrying cargo to and from ships visiting Pitt Island, in the Chathams, will be launched at Lyttelton this morning.
The diesel-powered surfboat, which was ordered by the Chatham Islands County Council, will be shipped to the Chathams aboard the Holmdale.
