Taxi Licences Transferred
The Transport Licensing Authority yesterday authorised the transfer of licences for three continuous taxi services.
They are John Henry Moore to Trevor lan Ingram Smith, Frederick Charles Edward Aspinall to Jon Gerald Shipley, and David John Fowke to Murray Douglas McQueen. The Authority reserved decision on an application by Albert James Hatcher for authority to transfer his licence under special circumstances.
The authority also reserved decision on an inquiry under Section 141 <rf the Transport Act, 1962, to ascertain whether Mr Hatcher’s licence was being carried on in conformity with its terms and conditions.
