(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 30. Students marched on the Security Service headquarters in Wellington today and held a half-hour demonstration outside the building, Police guarded entrances to the headquarters in Taranaki Street as about 150 students gathered to protest about the employment of “secret police.” No arrests were reported. The main body of protesters marched more than a mile from Victoria University carrying placards proclaiming “Keep security agents off campus,” “Stamp out fascism —sack the 5.5.,” and “How many secrets.” <

Outside the building they set up a chant calling for the Director of Security (Brigadier H. E. Gilbert) to address the gathering. They dispersed leaving a small picket line at the scene without hearing from Brigadier Gilbert
