A BOTTOM SEALING MACHINE for producing polythene bags at the Christ church plant is operated by Mrs Heather Mahonga. A reel of tubular film is fed into the machine which heat seals it at intervals and cuts it to length. The machine can also produce bags with a tear-top action for ease of opening, side gusseted bags, and hole-punched bags for contents requiring ventilation.
