SYDNEY • C.S.R led another strong industrial market in Sydney yesterday, with a 28c rise to • 878 c after Monday s 50c jump Other industrial leaders to .move ahead included Ansett. Blue Metal and Boral. Top ' performers in the mining sec tion were V.A.M.. Mid-East Minerals and Planet Metals. Golds eased back and there was a slight reaction among other miners after Mondays firmer trend. Oils showed little change apart from a marginal improvement in Woodside and Mid-Eastern.

MELBOURNE Rises outnumbered falls two to one in the mining and oil sections of the Melbourne market, but movements were generally small. There was some evidence of profit-taking in gold shares, after Monday's spurt, Conzinc Riotinto put on 40c to 2080 c, and Mary Kathleen put on 40c to 930 c. Vain also rose sharply to close 50c higher at 890 c. Peko Wallsend reacted to close 30c lower at 1185 c, Lake View was down 20c to 415 c, and Gold Mines of Kalgoorlie was down 10c at 188 c.
