N.Z. WOOL EXPO ‘69 DUNEDIN May 28 - June 3 ORGANISED BY THE ROYAL AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY OF NEW ZEALAND, AND THE OTAGO AGRICULTURAL AND PASTORAL SOCIETY, OTAGO. EVENTS INCLUDE: SHEEP CLASSER OF THE YEAR COMPETITION This competition is to select the most proficient judge of the live sheep, half the points being awarded for wool, and half for the breed type. This award is sponsored by the New Zealand Wool Board and prizes in the open section have been donated to the value of, First $3O; Second $l5; Third $5. The person who gsins the best aggregate over the three sections will receive the New Zealnad Wool Board's special award "Sheep Classer of the Year.” In the under-25 section, the prize money has been donated by the Romney, Corriedale and Merino Sheep Breeders' Association, and total $l5, $lO, $5 in each class. The under-25 person gaining the greatest number of points receives the Royal Agricultural Society's Gold Medal. The competition will attract entries from all sections of the Industry stock agents, farmers, farm advisory officers, etc., and should prove a most interesting event.
