Trawler Hits Jetty
The trawler Kotare. owned by Mr W. Pooley, was damaged when she hit the mole jetty while entering Lyttelton's inner harbour at 3 a.m. yesterday. The damage was above the waterline. Mr Joseph Cassidy, of Governor’s Bay, aged 35, suffered facial injuries when the impact of the crash knocked him Into the wheelhouse window. He was taken to the Christchurch Public Hospital but was later discharged.
