Britain’s major newspapers will be shut down by a 24hour strike of printing workers beginning at 5 p.m. tomorrow. to protest against the Government’s plan to legislate against work stoppages. The strike, approved by the union’s executive lai* night, affects the London morning newspapers, which circulate nationally, and the two London evening papers.
