Concert On Saturday
A concert of Gospel and , sacred music is to be given in the Majestic Theatre on Saturday by a singing trio, the ’ Lang Sisters, with Paul Mickelson. former organist with Billy Graham. The Lang Sisters, once popular entertainers with the Russ Morgan Orchestra and Peter Potter, abandoned secular music four years ago to concentrate on religious music, and have become well ; known in their chosen field through their recordings on ' the Supreme label. One of their long-playing records won the National Evangelical Film Foundation award in ’ the United States as the “best trio album of the year." Paul Mickelson, president of Supreme Recordings and a former director of the religious department of RCA . Victor, was Billy Graham’s; organist from 1950 to 1957. He toured Europe and the United Kingdom last year with the Lang Sisters. Their New Zealand tour is. sponsored by Supreme Pro-i - ductions South-East Asia. Limited. I
