Body Of Man Found
(From Our Own Reporter) GREYMOUTH, April 28. The finding of the body of a man near the Eight Mile Quarry at 8 a m. today ended a search which started late yesterday afternoon. The dead man was Ira Vernon Fawcett, aged 57, married, of Eight Mile, on the Coast Road. The body was found on a terrace overlooking the sea. Police said Mr Fawcett was a keen fisherman and had a habit of checking the sea. There were no suspicious circumstances, police said.
