PACIFIC TRADE
More Runs By Export Line (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, April 28. The New Zealand Export Line is to switch its transTasman freighter Wellington Exporter, to the islands trade for a twice-monthly service. The Wellington Exporter will begin the islands trip on May 9; but Mr J. V. M. Kean, a director for Maritime Services, Ltd, agents for the Export Line, said the move in no way meant that the firm wished to end its Australian refrigerated cargo trade. i By supplementing theAuckland Exporter (their i Pacific islands ship) with the Wellington Exporter, it would now be possible to run a twice-monthly service to Noumea. Lae. Port Moresby and Brisbane, as well as the exist-! ing monthly service to Norfolk Island, Rabaul and Honi- 1 are. Additional calls would also be made.
