Report To Be Obtained Three accidents had occurred in a month at the inter- . section of Riccarton Road and Matipo Street, where lights , had recently been erected. I said Cr R. S. Upston).! as suggested by the works; and town hall committee. The council approved a recommendation that more prominent signs be placed onj Riccarton Road to warnj motorists of the lights at! Matipo Street It was agreed that for his | report on Riccarton Road Mr Upston should confer with: the regional traffic engineer,! the Ministry nf Transport and j other local authority engin-j eers as necessary.
